Job Description:        
The Channel Systems Engineer (CSE) position is dedicated to supporting select Spirent Channel Partners.  The CSE is responsible for providing pre-sales technical and functional support to current and prospective partners as those partners go to market with the Spirent Enterprise solutions portfolio.  The CSE will need to develop high-quality presentations, demonstration, and practice collateral that can be used by partners to drive the pre-sales process.  The CSE will also deliver presentations to channel partners on product features/benefits, product roadmaps, and competitive intelligence.

Job Responsibilities:
• Work as part of a channel solution selling team.
• Develop and deliver compelling product demonstrations which tie Spirent solutions to partner and customer needs.
• Support all technical aspects of the sales cycle around the entire portfolio (appliance, software and services).
• Present and sell solutions to all levels within an account (business as well as technical audiences), through webinars, demonstrations, and on-site meetings.
• Train and mentor partners technical resources to promote partner self sufficiency.
• Develop technical practice collateral (i.e., Visio architecture templates, report templates, tools, scripts, etc.) to accelerate the partner practice development.
• Organize and manage SE Spirent Enterprise User Group.
Understanding of the industry, space and competition and have the ability to position the solutions to best assist in winning the business.
• manage multiple accounts/opportunities at the same time.

Desired Skills & Experience:
• Strong technology background (hardware, software, etc).
• Willing to learn.
• Good communication and presentation.
• Bachelor’s degree or related experience required.
• be able to travel at least 60% of the time.
• Master degree with computer science and telecommunication areas.
